Let’s Go See For Ourselves . . . And Bring It Back With Us!
There are hot spots of revival occurring on nearly every continent.  In these areas, there are churches that are multiplying at an unprecedented rate.  Seemingly unrelated, they have one thing in common—something that we don’t have . . .
Let’s go see it for ourselves,  and bring it back home with us.
We’d like to invite you to take a trip with us . . . A trip that can change your life and the life of your church . . . A trip that promises to be a true and rich encounter with the Holy Spirit.

In September, 2010, we will fly to Cali, Colombia and visit the fastest growing Nazarene Church in the world for their 4th Annual Master’s Plan Conference (Plan del Maestro).  We’ll get a good first-hand look at what they are doing to reach the lost for Christ in their city and how they disciple new Christians who disciple new Christians who disciple new Christians.

Those who have attended in the past have come back CHANGED.  This is not a mission trip.  This is a trip that promises to challenge everything you thought you knew about your own potential and your church’s ability and passion to multiply.  In Cali, we have been reminded that the multitudes are meant to come to Christ through each of us.  The Great Commission is not simply for the minister or the spiritual elite.   If God’s mission is NOT happening in your life or in your church, is it fair that we blame our cities or circumstance?  Could it be that we have forgotten that Jesus intended for our ministries to be greater than His (John 14:12)?  Could it be that we have forgotten how desperately our Savior wants salvation to come to our homes, cities and nation (I Timothy 2: 4)?  If we have not forgotten, then what is your plan?  If not us, who are the faithful men (and women) who have been entrusted with a saving fruitful multiplying message (2 Timothy 2:2)? The Great Commission is MY commission.

Our goal is to take up to 36 pastors or lay leaders from our church, district, and neighboring districts.  Imagine the impact 36 people would have on their communities!  36 people with a new fire, a new vision, and eyes that have learned to cry for the lost in their city:  ready for the multitudes to come.

This Decision Will Need To Be A Prayerful Decision
Any time you travel internationally there are risks and expenses to be mindful of.  While we can promise that this trip will change your life, we can’t say that it is for everyone.  The schedule is strenuous and the travel isn’t always the most comfortable.  However, the very large city of Cali and the hotel are reasonably safe and very modern as South American cities go.  Additionally, the church in Cali goes to unbelievable measures to keep us safe and chaperoned with translators.  Your trip hosts will also assist you with language and safety tips before and after the trip.
Our best advice is to resist your natural inclination and test it in prayer.  If your first thought is, “I could never”, pray about this and find God’s answer for you.  In the same way, if your first response is, “Sign me up!!  I’m there!!”, bathe this response in prayer and make sure that the Holy Spirit is leading you to join.

About Your Hosts
This will be Pastor Todd’s fourth trip to Cali.  Angela was blessed to attend last year.  Together Todd and Angela have a passion for worship and discipleship.  Todd is the Pastor of UpReach Ministry at Bloomington First and Angela serves as the worship leader for the EPIC worship band.
Once you register for this trip, you will begin receiving information from your hosts.  They will anticipate questions and keep you up-to-date on itinerary changes and travel tips.
Once we arrive in Cali, we will be assigned a guide/translator  from the church in Cali who will work with Todd and Angela in planning all transportation and sight-seeing.  From the time we arrive in Cali until we are driven back to the airport, the church leaders are very aware of our location.  Angela and Todd will help you become familiar with area shopping and sight-seeing.  One of your hosts will be with you as we travel throughout Cali.
If you would like more information, please feel free to contact your hosts or Chris Hole, our travel director.  Also, feel free to contact past participants if you have questions.  You can get a list from Pastor Todd or Chris Hole.

The city of Cali is beautiful in it’s own up-and-coming South American style.  However, the people of the church in Cali are the real stars as the most joyful and accommodating people on the planet.  Both Angela and Todd have returned from each trip challenged to worship, walk, and work Cali-style.

The Master’s Plan is a discipleship method that allows for an in-flow of new believers, discipled through an intensive system until each is not only a disciple, but a disciple-maker.

Too many churches take their few new converts and say, “Great! Hope you make it!”  Often, these new believers fall off the map.  In Cali, each believer is encouraged to make disciples and knows their next step to becoming a disciple-maker.

Come and see for yourself.  We are so excited to meet your every need while you go and see how God is showing His power through the people of Cali who refuse to exit His daily presence.
